Increasing the internal floor area of a property brings with it many advantages — allowing your dream home to be realised, expanding for your family's future and increasing the net worth of the property.
The extensive structural alterations to this property added two additional large rooms.
The Challenge
The existing building had been extended previously and, prior to undertaking the design of the proposed works, we planned the intrusive investigations required to allow prospective builders to factor in the unknowns.
This allowed a greater degree of accuracy during tender stage and allowed a depth of understanding of the existing building structure not usually afforded for such projects.
